

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- An investigation is underway after a man was shot and killed in north Harris County overnight, according to authorities.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to a call about a shooting at about 11:55 p.m. on Friday in the 500 block of Gulf Bank Road.
When deputies arrived, they said they found the man near a set of horse stables on a large property. Officials said the man had multiple gunshot wounds and was unresponsive.
Officials said that life-saving measures were administered to the victim until EMS arrived, who later pronounced him dead at the scene.
Investigators said a witness reported hearing the victim in an argument with another man before the shooting. The witness told authorities they heard several gunshots before seeing the suspect fleeing the scene on foot.
Officials said the identity of the victim is still being determined.
Authorities said no one is in custody at this time. HCSO said homicide detectives and CSI responded to the scene and that the investigation remains ongoing.
